About the Role:

The Founding Engineer role at Beaming Health is an opportunity to make a major impact on a fast-growing, mission-driven company. You will take ownership of engineering at an early stage and help shape both the product and the technical foundation of the business. You’ll work directly with Chris Olmanson (Co-Founder & CEO), work closely with our two senior developers in Ukraine, and collaborate closely with product, design, growth, and operations teams.

To date, we’ve built a top-of-funnel site for families to find care at beaminghealth.com, a practice management/EHR system for providers to keep track of and document sessions, and a backend revenue operations engine to allow us to efficiently get paid from insurance. As a Founding Engineer, you’ll help us level up our platform by embedding AI further into our product. Whether it’s auto-generating documentation, streamlining insurance ops, or building intelligent parent support tools, your success in this role will be defined by how meaningfully you use AI to improve outcomes for families, providers, and our internal team.

Expectations:

• Take ownership of core parts of our codebase (client platform, provider platform,
• internal tools, integrations with insurance & billing systems)
• Build and iterate quickly on new product features to serve families and therapists
• Help define our technical architecture and development processes
• Work closely with product, design, and growth teams to prioritize and execute on the roadmap
